Watch the Wallflowers perform at Bimbo’s on “Live from the Artists Den”

Bimbo’s 365 Club is proud to be featured on an upcoming episode of “Live from the Artists Den”, which is set to air in San Francisco on October 23rd at 11pm on KQED Plus. The Artists Den pairs world-class musicians with unique venues to create intimate, once-in-a-lifetime concerts. This episode showcases a live set by Wallflowers at Bimbo’s 365 Club.

Now in it’s 5th season, “Live from the Artists Den” is best known for presenting artists in non-traditional, often historic settings. It is a three-time New York Emmy-nominated television series with millions of dedicated viewers worldwide. This weekly music series is broadcast into over 72 million homes and features some of the world’s most respected artists performing secret shows in beautiful, unique locations across the United States.

It’s been seven years since their last album, but the Wallflowers were back in full force for their taping of “Live from the Artists Den” in San Francisco. The band filmed an episode of the acclaimed public television show in front of 600 invited guests, surrounded by the Art Deco glamour of Bimbo’s 365 Club, a Bay Area institution for more than 80 years. Frontman Jakob Dylan led the Wallflowers through a riveting 18-song set, featuring new songs from their forthcoming album on Columbia Records, Glad All Over, and classics such as “One Headlight” and “6th Avenue Heartache.” Bimbo’s 365 Club was an ideal setting for this special “Live from the Artists Den” taping because of the club’s long history. Over the past few years, many of the performers that are featured on different episodes of “Live from the Artists Den” have performed here including: Norah Jones, Mayer Hawthorne, Iron & Wine, David Gray, and Ben Harper.

The premiere of the episode filmed at Bimbo’s 365 Club is coming up soon! You can get a glimpse of The Wallflowers on our stage and a sneak-peek of the episode here. Be sure to tune in to your local PBS station for the full episode.  The airtimes are below:
