Reverend Horton Heat returns to Bimbo’s on April 16!

Psychobilly returns to Bimbo’s with Reverend Horton Heat on April 16!  If you weren’t around North Beach in the 90s or early 2000’s, then you’re in for a real treat to see how at home this band is on our stage.  This band always makes the room come alive!

Reverend Horton Heat returns toting the new studio album, Rev, after a four year recording hiatus.  The recording process was a bit challenging but “magical” according to Jim Heath in a recent review on Rolling Stone.  The content of the new album doesn’t include just new material, but also showcases “Longest Gonest Man,” a song written by Heath in the dawn of the Heat in 1986.  My how times flies!

Their first appearance on our stage after 9 years, we’re really excited to have them back!  Check out this picture from 1996 during a Brian Setzer show-  the Rev was in attendance and Setzer couldn’t resist inviting him on stage for a couple songs.  Grab your tickets to Thursday, April 16 here before they sell out.  Koffin Kats and Igor & The Red Elvises will open the night…  and who knows who else will be there?
