This is a benefit concert & auction, produced by the non-profit, For the Bayou, for continued restoration of Louisiana’s disappearing wetlands. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit urgently needed environmental restoration in Louisiana’s wetlands. Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. The tax-deductible portion of the concert tickets is $40 per General Admission ticket / $115 per VIP ticket. For the Bayou is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. For more information,

Allen Toussaint, the most influential New Orleans musician, songwriter and producer alive who worked with the legendary NOLA funk band The Meters, has produced, collaborated with and/or had his songs covered by Elvis Costello, The Band, Jerry Garcia, Little Feat, Dr. John, Paul Simon, Joe Cocker, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones and many, many others. He wrote songs that were made famous by other great artists, including, “Workin In a Coalmine” (Lee Dorsey), “Yes We Can” (Pointer Sisters), “Sneakin Sally Through The Alley” (Robert Palmer/Ringo Starr), “Lady Marmalade” (Patty LaBelle), and countless others.
